With a mix of GRIPIT sizes, drill bits and screws, this is the perfect set if you have just moved into a new home or are redecorating and want some easy to use, heavy load bearing fixings in your toolbox.Using their uniquely patented designed slim gripping wings, GRIPIT Fixings fold out in the gap behind the plasterboard to create one of the most effective and secure fixings on the market today. Ideal for DIY & Trade - hang curtain rails, book shelves and kitchen/bathroom units, to radiators, boilers and wall mounted TV's.Traditional plasterboard fixings, although initially secure often fail over time. GRIPIT fixings are unique plasterboard fixings that provide the perfect solution to this enduring problem. They are easy to position and fit, and provide a strong, secure fixing for most wall-mounted items. The design spreads the load over twice the diameter of the fixing ensuring the even distribution of any stresses over a wide area.Suitable for use in 9.5 to 15mm thick plasterboard, GRIPIT fixings are easy to fit. Mark the location, drill the hole using the recommended size flat bit and tap in the GRIPIT. Push in the insert with a screwdriver and a simple twist spreads the GRIPIT wings behind the board; job done.GRIPIT fixings are reusable: simply turn wing screws to release and remove. If you are unfortunate enough to encounter double thickness plasterboard or dot and dab adhesive, the GRIPIT Undercutting Tool accessory creates a recess for the wings to rotate into place.As seen on the UK BBC's Dragons' Den television programme!\nPlease Note: Gripits are not suitable for Cantilever, extendable, "pull out" or full motion TV Brackets or any other object with continuous moving, rotating or vibrating motion. This type of installation causes immense stress on the plasterboard and tends to result in the plasterboard failing. The only recommended TV Brackets that are compatible with Gripit products or kits are fixed' wall brackets which allow no movement of the TV whatsoever. It is not suitable for vertical radiators. Do not over tighten, do not use powered drivers to tighten the GripIt.
