The Q Audio QAMP3204 is a robust low-impedance installation amplifier- delivering powerful stereo output with 2 x 100W at 8 Ohms or 2 x 160W at 4 Ohms RMS. Designed for professional installations in bars- restaurants- gyms- and schools- it features a versatile mixer section that accommodates one music source and three microphone inputs. The music source can be selected from an internal media player or three external line inputs- with gain control and an additional 3.5mm front-panel jack for easy connectivity. The internal media player supports an FM tuner- Bluetooth receiver- USB drives- and SD cards up to 16GB (approximately 2000 songs)- displaying MP3 filenames on a large LCD screen. It offers standard and random play modes- elapsed/remaining time display- and FM tuner with RDS information. Additionally- a jingle player supports up to three jingles- which can be scheduled or triggered via front-panel switches-ideal for announcements and advertising. Each microphone input is equipped with phantom power- an isolation transformer (Mic 1 only)- low-pass filter- rear-panel gain control- and front-panel volume- EQ- and on/off switch. An adjustable auto talk-over function reduces music volume during announcements- ensuring clear audio for important messages. The master section includes a 2-band EQ- a 5-LED output level meter- and a maximum level control located on the rear panel. It supports remote volume control through an external potentiometer (QWALLV1- sold separately) and incorporates a chime sound generator with adjustable volume- external trigger- and user-loadable sounds via memory card. For zoning- the QAMP3204 provides a dedicated zone section with independent volume control- assignable to either the master signal or one of the rear line inputs. The two amplifiers can be configured for either the master left/right signal or mono master and mono zone signals. Each amplifier block includes an internally selectable 80Hz high-pass filter to optimise audio output for smaller background speakers. Speaker outputs are provided on binding posts. The amplifier also includes an emergency priority input and output mute contact for external muting and emergency message prioritisation.
